Acetaminophen is used to treat mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever. Acetaminophen comes in different forms such as capsules, liquid, chewable or disintegrating tablets, and dissolving powders or granules.

Like all other medicine, Acetaminophen can cause several side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  1. Rash, 
  2. Red, peeling, or blistering skin
  3. Swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
  4. Nausea,
  5. Headache.
  6. Hypersensitivity reactions
  7. Serious skin reactions
  8. Severe dizziness, 
  9. Trouble breathing
  10. Kidney damage
  11. Anaemia
  12. Reduced number of platelets in the blood

If you have any of the rare side effects of Acetaminophen mentioned above, stop taking this medication right away and call your doctor.
